Waterfront Sanctuary

“Bay Reflections”

This home was originally a series of buildings used as the communications center for the Bay of Pigs Invasion. It was designed and built in two phases; the first to unify the property and second to bring each piece together as a welcoming home and tropical retreat. A relaxing side yard with a cozy lanai overlooks an infinity pool on the open water. A jamaican caper hedgerow helps break up the wind, creating a more relaxing atmosphere. In the front, a dramatic almost parklike entry was created and framed by large native trees and a textured tropical understory.
